Connections are protected information. Only you have access to your connections.
Connections can be used both as a shortcut to your contact's Profile and as a way to grant privilege to your contact on your Profile.
You can send a connection request to your contact. The connection will remain pending until your contact confirms the connection request. After a short period, you may revive the connection request. Once accepted, the connection is established.
When sending or accepting a connection request you can assign private/public (or blacklisted) level of confidence to share your private/public data with your contact (if you do not blacklist this contact).
When adding a connection, if not blacklisted your contact will be informed via the following pre-formatted E-mail:
From: your First Name, Last Name, E-mail address
To: E-mail address of your contact
Subject: Visitor Guest has added you as a Business Connection on Jobs-CV
I've added you as a Business Connection on Jobs-CV. Can you confirm the Connection Request ?
